Originally from Saigon, Lan Gain has been an East Texan since 1975. After naively assuming the fireworks were celebrating her arrival on her July 4th entry into the USA, she set out on her dream by enthusiastically learning cosmetology, English and earning her citizenship at the same time.

Her studies earned the highest score in her class on the Texas cosmetology examination. She has since spent over twenty-one years as a stylist and manager within the Regis Corporation*, winning every award at every level available within its international corporation. Repeatedly winning the "presidents award" which is awarded to less than 150 top performing team managers within the worldwide organization of about 53,000 stylists. She is placed among the top 70 stylists in the entire world, outperforming about 11,000 other salons. After 21 years with the Regis Corporation, Lan has decided to devote her expertise to The Jade Panda Salon.

The Jade Panda is the culmination of years of experience and the desire to create an environment that caters to the client. She has been followed by the same family of highly skilled stylists that made it possible for her to achieve such notoriety within the Regis Corporation.
